Fees & Insurance
Therapy is an investment in your future self. Here is a transparent breakdown of what sessions cost across our team, and how to use your benefits to cover them.
Fees Overview
For more details about fees and insurance coverage see the sections below.
Your rate depends on which therapist you work with. See every therapist’s fee, confirmed before your first session.
Individual Therapy
The Safe Container
Individual therapy is a collaborative process where we gently untangle the roots of anxiety, trauma, and overwhelm. This is your dedicated hour to be heard, understood, and equipped with tools for change.
Our team includes Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying). Fees vary by therapist. What matters more than the number is finding the person whose focus fits what you are carrying.
Perfect For
- High-functioning anxiety
- Processing past trauma
- Navigating life transitions
- Building self-worth
What to Expect
- 50-minute dedicated session
- Virtual or In-person options
- Trauma-informed approach
- Practical skill-building
Your exact rate depends on which therapist you see and is listed below. Receipt provided for insurance reimbursement. Psychotherapy, counselling therapy, and social work services are HST-exempt in Ontario.
What each therapist charges
Fees reflect each therapist’s training, designation, and years of clinical experience. They do not reflect how well matched they are to what you are carrying. The right therapist is the one whose focus fits your situation.

Couples Therapy
A Structured Roadmap to Connection
Most couples arrive at therapy exhausted from the same arguments, the same silence, the same patterns. The last thing you need is to spend months retelling your story before anything meaningful happens.
There are two ways to start with us.
The Gottman Method track, with Leanne. Before you ever meet, each partner completes a comprehensive clinical assessment. This is not a questionnaire you fill out and never hear about again. It is a detailed exploration of your relationship’s unique patterns, the places where you are still connected, and the tender spots where things have come undone. Your first session runs 90 minutes because you walk through what the assessment revealed, together.
Couples therapy with Ana or Samantha. A more traditional path that begins in the room. You start with a standard session and build understanding session by session, without a formal assessment stage up front.
Both are real work. The difference is where you begin, and how much structure you want before you do.
1. Relationship Checkup
A deep-dive online clinical assessment completed individually by each partner.
2. Deep Dive Review
First Session (90 mins). We review assessment results together and create your roadmap.
3. Ongoing Work
Standard Sessions (60 mins). Practical tools to rebuild trust, intimacy, and communication.
No assessment stage. You begin with a standard session and build from there. Sessions run 60 minutes, slightly longer than individual therapy, which is standard for couples work.

Questions
Ask something else Our therapists bring different training, designations, and years of clinical experience, and their fees reflect that. It does not reflect how well matched they are to what you are carrying. The right therapist for you is the one whose focus fits your situation, which is what our team page is built to help you find. Every therapist here is registered, supervised where required, and held to the same standard of care.
Most major extended health plans in Ontario provide coverage, including Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield, Desjardins, and Blue Cross. Our team is made up of Registered Psychotherapists, so look for 'Psychotherapy' or 'Registered Psychotherapist' in your plan. If your plan funds only Social Work, let us know when you reach out and we will point you toward a practitioner your plan reimburses.
No. Like many specialized therapy practices, we operate on a pay and claim model. You pay at the time of the appointment and receive a detailed receipt with your therapist's name and registration number. You then submit that to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Yes, in most cases. Insurance plans typically require the receipt to be issued in the name of one covered family member. Your therapist can discuss how to structure receipts to meet your insurer's requirements.
This depends on your specific plan. Some cover 100% up to a yearly maximum, while others cover a percentage per session, often 80%. We recommend calling your provider before your first session to ask about your coverage for your therapist's specific designation.
No. As of June 20, 2024, the Canadian government removed GST and HST from psychotherapy and counselling therapy services. Social work services are also exempt. The price listed is the final price you pay.
We maintain a small number of reduced-fee spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Availability is limited and varies by therapist. If cost is a barrier, please mention it when you reach out and we will let you know what is currently open.
The first session is about getting to know each other. You will talk about what brings you to therapy, your history, and what you are hoping for. There is no pressure to dive deep immediately. It is also a chance for you to see whether this therapist feels like the right fit.
