Hi, I am Ana. I am part of Leanne's care team, and I work with adults and couples in-person in Kitchener and virtually across Ontario.
The people I work with often carry a lot more than they show on the outside. Many arrive feeling lost, inadequate, misunderstood, or stuck. Sometimes it feels like a suffocating weight that will not lift. Other times, it is quieter than that. You are pushing forward in life while something inside is intensely pulling you back.
It can feel like an endless tunnel. No way out. No light to be seen.
Most of us will know these places at some point in our lives. And yet, we rarely speak of them, or know what to do when we arrive.
What we carry is often trying to tell us something important.
In a safe and understanding space, these parts of us can finally be heard.
These experiences, uncomfortable as they are, are often pointing toward something that needs care and attention. In a space that feels safe, with someone who makes you feel understood and heard, it becomes possible to slow down. To tune into what these parts of you are trying to say. To make sense of your experience, and to validate and soothe the parts of you that have gone unmet.
Over time, you may soften how you relate to yourself. You may feel more choice in how you move through life, and how you show up in your relationships.
I believe in this process because I have lived it myself.
I know what it is like to feel overwhelmed by what is happening inside and not fully understand why. Early experiences left me carrying wounds I was largely unaware of. On the surface, it looked like I was succeeding. Inside, I felt dangerously close to collapse.
When I first had the chance to connect with a therapist, I doubted it would help. I declined the offer. The darkness expanded, and out of desperation, I reached back out. She became my guiding light.
For the first time, I experienced what it felt like to be met with steadiness and care, rather than judgement. I began to feel more grounded. More understood. More at home within myself.
Later in life, when I became a wife and mother, the older parts of my story came forward again. I returned to therapy, this time with someone who helped me carefully dive beneath the surface. As I made sense of what I had carried for so long, something began to shift. I approached myself and others with more compassion. Life started to feel less like something I was bracing against.
This is what I hope to give you.
Not fixing. Making space for what is already there, waiting to be heard and understood. I will embrace you as you are, and walk alongside you as you move toward the changes that matter most.
Emotionally sensitive. Warm. Open.
I will meet you where you are.
“There is a crack, a crack in everything. That is how the light gets in.”

Who I work with.
I support adults navigating the kinds of inner struggles that are often invisible to the people around them.
Anxiety
The relentless sense that something could go wrong, even if you cannot quite name what. A persistent unease that may feel outside of your control.
Depression
Your life and the world around you may feel muted, heavy, or out of reach. A seemingly boundless emptiness, perpetual exhaustion, or disconnection from yourself and others.
Grief & Loss
The emptiness or longing after someone you love has left your life. It may also show up as hopelessness after losing parts of yourself and being challenged to live in a changed version of who you once were.
Perfectionism & Self-Criticism
A constant inner voice sharpening your flaws and convincing you that you must earn your worth, yet never quite arriving there. It makes your world feel narrow, as if every step is measured and never enough.
Relationship Dynamics
An invisible current pulling you into familiar patterns. Old wounds echoing in new moments, shaping how you reach for others and how you pull away.
Chronic Illness & Pain
An unrelenting weight that seeps into every part of daily life, draining energy, limiting freedom, and asking you to constantly adapt to a body that no longer feels entirely like your own.
Life Transitions
The disorientation of standing between chapters. Career shifts, identity changes, becoming a parent, and the quiet grief that comes with letting go of who you used to be.
Couples
The quiet drift between two people who still love each other. The same arguments on repeat. The sense that you are no longer truly seen, or no longer know how to reach each other. Together, we slow down and make space for what is underneath the patterns, so you can find your way back to one another.
How I Work
My approach is person-centred and neuroscience-informed. I draw from a range of modalities tailored to your unique needs, always guided by your preferences and pace. I believe that in a trusting therapeutic relationship, it becomes possible to feel grounded in the present while creating space to understand yourself at a deeper level, so that meaningful, lasting change becomes possible.
Connection-Based
Healing happens in relationship. I take my time to get to know you and build a strong foundational bond so that you feel understood and supported before we go deeper.
Person-Centred
You already hold knowledge, strengths, and beliefs that will help you heal. Rather than assuming what you need, I listen carefully and provide space for you to define your own goals and the path of getting there.
Grounding
Challenging experiences leave their mark on mind and body. We work together to help you return to a felt sense of safety and trust within yourself before exploring what is difficult.
Exploratory
At your own pace, we explore the past to help us better understand who you are today. The patterns that once protected you but now feel limiting, and the unmet needs beneath them.
All-Encompassing
I aim to support your whole self, mind, body, and spirit, in a way that feels right for you. I welcome your cultural background, spiritual and religious beliefs, and daily life into our space, and thoughtfully explore how they may serve as sources of strength and healing.
