Spring 2026 Cohort • Only 3 Spots Left
Group Clinical
Supervision
A closed group experience for therapists who want to deepen their clinical skills while building connections with peers.
"Private practice can be isolating. Group supervision offers a place to think out loud and remember you're not carrying this work alone."
Leanne Sawchuk

Setting Expectations
What this cohort is not
Not a drop-in group. This is a closed cohort. The same members meet for all 6 sessions to build trust and continuity.
Not peer consultation. There's a designated supervisor holding the frame, tracking dynamics, and providing clinical input.
Not therapy. While the space is supportive, the focus is on your professional development and client work.
Not business coaching. We focus on clinical skills and case conceptualization, not building your practice or marketing.
A Note on Confidentiality
What's shared in the group stays in the group. All members sign a supervision agreement with strict confidentiality provisions. This creates the safety needed for honest reflection, including the messy, uncertain parts we often don't share elsewhere.
FAQ
Questions you might have
It's normal to have questions before committing. Here are answers to the most common ones.
I understand that life happens. Because this is a closed group with a fixed schedule, missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded. However, I often add a bonus session at the end of the cohort for the group to wrap up together. This gives everyone a chance to close out the experience, even if they had to miss one along the way.
Yes! Group supervision can count toward your supervision hours for CRPO registration. The College allows a combination of individual and group supervision, with specific guidelines about the proportion of each. We can discuss what makes sense for your situation when you inquire.
Yes. I complete and sign CRPO Supervision Attestation Forms upon request at no additional charge. You're responsible for maintaining your own records of supervision hours for CRPO reporting purposes.
No. With 6 to 8 members and 6 sessions, we rotate who presents. You'll likely present once or twice over the cohort. The rest of the time, you learn by listening, asking questions, and participating in the discussion. There's tremendous value in witnessing how others navigate their clinical work.
That's completely understandable. Most therapists feel some vulnerability when sharing their clinical work, especially in a group setting. Part of my role is to create a space that feels safe enough for that vulnerability. We move at a pace that works for the group, and you're never pressured to share before you're ready.
Not at all. The group welcomes therapists from various orientations. My own work draws on relational, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches, but supervision is about helping you develop your clinical thinking within your own framework. Diversity of perspective often enriches the group's learning.
CRPO allows a combination of individual and group supervision, but there are specific guidelines about the proportion of each. For RP (Qualifying) members, at least 50% of supervision hours must be individual. Group supervision can fulfill the remaining hours. I'm happy to discuss what makes sense for your specific situation.
By signing the supervision agreement, you commit to the full 6 session cohort. The $70 deposit is non-refundable unless I cancel the group. If you need to withdraw after signing, you remain responsible for the full program fee. This policy exists because the closed group format depends on consistent membership. If I need to cancel a session, I'll schedule a make-up or provide a refund for that session.

Your Supervisor
Hi, I'm Leanne.
Grounded, warm, and honest.

Leanne Sawchuk
Registered Psychotherapist
Clinical Supervisor
I've been practicing psychotherapy in Kitchener-Waterloo for over a decade, and supervision has become one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
I remember what it was like to be new to this field. The self-doubt, the second-guessing, the moments of wondering if I was doing it right. I also remember the supervisors who helped me trust my own instincts while continuing to grow.
That's the kind of supervision I try to offer. I'm not interested in being the expert in the room. I'm interested in thinking alongside you, helping you notice what you might be missing, and creating enough safety that you can bring the messy, uncertain parts of your clinical work into the light.
